Terms of Service

Recortex is provided by KDI ApS, Danish company registration number (CVR) 46525892, Thors Allé 1, 4673 Rødvig Stevns, Denmark ("we"). Contact: hello@klamer-dueholm.com.

These terms are an agreement between us and the business that creates a Recortex workspace ("the customer"). The person who accepts them confirms that they may bind that business. Recortex is for businesses only, not for consumers.

Recortex reads figures from the systems the customer connects, computes whether its marketing pays for itself, and proposes actions. Every figure and proposal is computed by Recortex's own rules; where the wording of a recommendation is produced by an AI service, the AI only phrases a result Recortex has already computed (see the Privacy Policy, section 6).

Recortex is decision support. Every decision, and every action taken on it, is the customer's. Recortex acts on nothing by itself, and its access to connected systems is read-only. Recommendations depend on the data available and on what the customer states in its Playbook; Recortex does not promise any result.

• Connect only systems the customer is entitled to connect, and keep sign-in links and accounts secure.
• Keep the Playbook accurate — margins, budgets and commitments drive the recommendations.
• Not enter personal data about other people in free-text fields such as the Playbook.
• Not misuse the service, attempt to access other customers' data, or disrupt it.

Connections to Shopify, Meta and e-conomic depend on those providers, their terms and their availability. We are not responsible for their services. None of them can be connected yet; each becomes available once the provider has approved Recortex. Disconnecting a system stops all reading at once. A connection error or an expired access, disconnecting a system, or uninstalling Recortex in the provider's system does not end this agreement.

The customer's business data remains the customer's. We process it only to provide Recortex, as the customer's processor under the Data Processing Agreement, which is a fixed annex to these terms and is accepted together with them. How we handle personal data as controller is described in the Privacy Policy.

Retention: while the customer is a customer, figures computed from connected systems are kept for 24 months, for history, tracking and analysis, and then deleted. Everything attributable to the customer is deleted within 30 days after the agreement ends — except the record that the customer accepted these terms and the Data Processing Agreement, which is kept for at most 3 years after the agreement ends to document it.

We do not sell customer data, do not use it to train AI models, and do not combine one customer's data with another's. We do not currently compile statistics across customers. If we introduce anonymised quality measurement across customers — never individual outcomes, never segments with fewer than five customers — we will first change these terms as described in section 10.

We aim to keep Recortex available and correct, but it is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. We may change, add or remove features; if a change removes something the customer relies on, we tell the customer in advance where we reasonably can.

Fees apply only as agreed with the customer in writing before they are charged. No fee is payable under these terms unless such an agreement exists.

Recortex is decision support: we are not liable for the customer's business decisions or their outcome, for indirect loss, lost profit or lost data, or for the services of connected providers. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees the customer has paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Danish law.

The agreement runs until either party ends it. The customer can end it at any time by writing to us; we can end it with 30 days' written notice, or at once if the customer materially breaches these terms. Everything attributable to the customer is deleted within 30 days after the agreement ends, with the exception in section 5.

We tell each workspace owner by email about changes to these terms or the Data Processing Agreement at least 30 days before they take effect. From that date Recortex asks for the new version to be accepted before the workspace can be used; the customer can instead end the agreement.

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are settled by the Danish courts.
